No, if you are an avid Nokia user and have been since the days of the snake riddled 3310 handset from the Finnish firm then you may have noticed that they have taken a step in the wrong direction recently with some of their handsets that they have released.

But maybe they have finally turned a corner with their new handset, the Nokia N8. This has been hyped up to be one hell of a handset and with a 12MP camera and its also the first handset to be rocking the new Symbian^3 OS from Nokia.
A downside, yes there is one, there always is one, is that the UK release date of August 26th has been pushed back to October sometime, and o be more precise, according to Play.com who have the handset available for pre-order it is being released on the 8th of October.
If your contract runs out in October though, surely thats one good thing to take out this bad news? If it does run out in October and you want to weigh up what your options are for a new mobile phone on a new network, then why not pay Top10.com a visit and see what or if they have any good Nokia N8 deals that suit what you are looking for.

In an effort to keep Galaxy S units flying off the shelf in South Korea, Samsung is releasing a version of the device targeted towards women. Just as Korea got the exclusive Snow White Galaxy S, a pink version will launch in the country. We can’t judge by the picture if this is a similar battery cover color change with the front bezel remaining the same as the standard Galaxy S (this seemed to be the case with the Snow White variant) or not, but pink it is. Still no word on if and when either of the color variants will launch outside of Korea.

Most of our readers will know the work of custom PC maker Jeffrey Stevenson, we have featured many of his awesome creations before on Geeky Gadgets, and as usual his latest custom PC is a work of art.
Jeffreys latest creation is inspired by the popular TV show Mad Men, take a lot at the photo below, this is definitely cone of his coolest creations to date.

Mid-Century Madness is a computer enclosure inspired by the television show Mad Men. I was motivated by a challenge from a design blog to build something in the mid-century modern style and this is my response. The idea was to create a caricature of early-Sixties furniture fashion and somehow have it fit into an alternative universe where desktop computers were used in a 1960′s Mad Men office. Could this have been Don Draper’s PC?
You can find out more details about this awesome Made Men inspired PC over at Jeffrey’s website.

Who says Android phones need to be expensive? The Wall Street Journal reports that T-Mo is working with Huawei to add an inexpensive Android phone to their product line up, the Ideos.T-mobile would be the first carrier to have a phone made by Huawei, and the Ideos would be available for less then $200, vs. the $500 most Android phones cost without a contract.
The Ideos does have a smaller screen at 2.8 inches, but it still features GPS and Wi-Fi. Currently the Ideos runs Android 2.2 with 3G mobile hot-spot functionality, making it a sure winner for T-Mobile if the talks are successful. Huawei is also in talks with Cricket to bring the Ideos to their network.
